While the parents may get excited for preparing their nursery for their baby, many do not think about the safety issues surrounding baby bedding. It’s easy to get carried away with cute comforters, so pay attention to ensure your baby’s crib is safe, and still stylish.
The only baby bedding you really need consists of light blankets and fitted sheets. Comforters are usually not used on children under the age of 2 so it is not a necessity to buy a baby bedding set that comes with one. When your baby is sleeping, use only a light blanket for warmth as an infant can easily overheat or suffocate.
You should monitor the nursery’s temperature to prevent the use of heavy blankets, and you should have the baby wear lightweight one-piece pajamas in the summer and thicker sleep outfits or wearable blankets during the winter.
