As a dance style street dance has been around really for quite a long time. I mean there were the style of locking, popping and breaking for ages before today. It seems to me that all the styles together with hip hop dance have been put together and they’ve called it street dance to kind of remarket it. Not that things haven’t changed; the hip hop dance of today certainly has changed quite a bit from 10 years ago. Bu it goes to show how effective a new name can be.
